Initially i started this blog as a photoblog depicting pictures from all my travels. But lately i've realized that i need to share some of my travel experiences too. So here it goes.. celebrating Life and its wonderful experiences.

There is no end…

19th Nov 2010, Delhi

There is no end…

I see you wearing good clothes, having great food, and I know you have a great place to live and a decent car to drive… and yet I always see you cribbing…
You have everything to live a happy life and you still long for more… how mean of you?

You have a shoulder to rest, to cry and an arm to feel safe… But you still crib..

Just look into my eyes… and think what I’ve?
nothing - except for these bars which holds me between my wish (Freedom) and reality.

I know you won’t let me go. I know I need to be here to entertain you, make you smile and to see you excited and feel powerful… and i promise i won't crib like you...

P.S: Somehow I like the pic a lot - especially his pensive look as if he wants to say something to us....

DEAD LEAF?

17th Nov 2010, New Delhi

I just lay there on the ground all alone hoping for the wind to take me to my destination…. The wait is long but I enjoy every moment of it… people passes by me – some not at all aware of my presence and some just don’t feel my importance… :-(

BUT then I see these clicks of me - I realize that even I, being dead, can be so beautiful and inspiring, then why can’t others ..........?
One just needs to have a belief, hope and a desire to do things good…

Encounter

14th Nov 2010, New Delhi

I spent more than 30 minutes to get this click and at last my patience paid off...

The wikipedia gives the following details of a leopard..

Compared to other members of the Felidae family, the leopard has relatively short legs and a long body with a large skull. It is similar in appearance to the jaguar, but is smaller and more slightly built. Its fur is marked with rosettes similar to those of the jaguar, but the leopard's rosettes are smaller and more densely packed, and do not usually have central spots as the jaguars do.
The species' success in the wild is in part due to its
opportunistic hunting behavior, its adaptability to habitats, its ability to run at speeds approaching 58 kilometres per hour (36 mph), its unequaled ability to climb trees even when carrying a heavy carcass, and its notorious ability for stealth. The leopard consumes virtually any animal it can hunt down and catch. Its habitat ranges from rainforest to desert terrains.

P.S: The pic was not taken in wild but in fact in a Zoo...

A hope of light...

13th Nov 2010, Delhi

a ray of light to end the darkness of the world - a hope within us...

Among loads of picture clicked during Diwali i was wondering which one to upload?
The above picture perfectly blends into the occasion with flame of lights distinctively overshadowing the dark background … which symbolize the victory of good over evil (That’s what Diwali is all about, right?)

Glimpse....of

10th Nov 2010, New Delhi
After almost a gap of 10-12 days i'm back with new updates.
Last week i went home for Diwali celebration and on my way home i clicked some pics of Himalayas.

If ever you get a chance to fly to the North-Eastern part of India from Delhi then always go early to the airport or do a web check-in much in advance. Opt for the Window seat (Row A to be very precise) and pray for a lovely weather (Clear sky).
I got lucky this time and through out the journey i could see the Himalayas ... The aircraft get much closer to the Himalayas while approaching W Bengal... and thats where i got the above picture...

during the journey the aircraft crosses Mt Everest (Highest Peak) and Kanchenjunga (3rd highest peak) also ... and some pilots are courteous enough to guide you during the whole journey.. :-)

P.S: Color version of the pic would be uploaded on my Flickr Account
