P O N D E R

29th July 2012, New Delhi

Sitting alone on a Sunday evening and staring at a distant sky, it becomes difficult for me to concentrate on a single point or a thought. So many things to do and the list are endless.

But thankfully there are few things which always take me away from the reality for better – photography!! At least something on which I can put my mind endlessly and each time I come up with something new to ponder about.

@Hauz Khas Village: This click was taken at HauzKhas Village few weeks back after the onset of monsoon in Delhi. I think I got the perfect timing to be there, else with dust all around its very hard to get ideal condition to click in Delhi.

The Royal Tank - Hauz-Khas

11th July 2012, New Delhi

Just other day I came across a book on Delhi. It actually enticed me to revisit Delhi once again.
With monsoon coming in and the weather becoming more and more pleasant I thought of starting my trip right away.
With this excitement I visited Hauz Khas Village last week.  To my surprise i find it entirely a different place…. Going through the narrow lane of the so called village I saw quite interesting boutiques, art gallery, restaurant and cafes… all full with young crowd. It felt like I was in a college campus. Just after crossing the narrow lanes we were into the ruins from the 14th / 15th century (Tughlaq dynasty). … Overlooking the ruins you can see the royal pond (Hauz Khas) built during the same time… The renovated lake looks stunning with clear weather (No dust because of recent pouring)..

The pictures was taken atop the ruins overlooking the setting sun…

MARIGOLD

08th July 2012, New Delhi

Marigold is abundant in India and is used in every celebration…but hardly ever I had stopped over to notice its beautiful symmetry. After clicking only I realized how these petals comes together to give such a symmetrical shape. I changed it further to monochrome to clearly see the depth of the shape.
with Single color it's hard to notice such details.

A beautiful thing

05th July 2012, New Delhi

No matter what shape, color it takes, a beautiful thing will always remain beautiful
Isn’t the same thing goes for we human too?

The picture was taken in my kitchen garden. I first kept it to its true color but then thought of checking it in monochrome. And here is the result.
