Initially i started this blog as a photoblog depicting pictures from all my travels. But lately i've realized that i need to share some of my travel experiences too. So here it goes.. celebrating Life and its wonderful experiences.

Full Circle

15th May 2017, New Delhi

People ask me about the tourist attraction in Guwahati and I have a simple answer…. chase the Sunset over the river Brahmaputra. If you love watching sunset then this is the place. Its one of the magical one i’d ever witnessed.

There are many places along the bank but this one place, from where one can take ferry to Uma Nanda (World’s smallest Inhabited river island), is my favourite spot.  Either you can take a ferry to the island and watch the sunset from there or just be on the city side and watch the sunset over the backdrop of the island.

Be aware in Assam the Sunset is usually one hour earlier than what we witness in Delhi or western part of the country.

P.S: This picture was taken from the city side of the river. You can see people in ferry coming back from the island. The island itself is visible partially on the extreme right hand side.

Little Pause!

13th May 2017, New Delhi

Its been almost an year that i’ve written anything on my blog. There is not a single reason for it but many. Sometime got caught up with work, then sometime with travelling (both official and personal trips) , then i was a bit unwell and got a surgery… the list goes on and on.

But the whole year was full of excitement… a small pause in life!!

During last one year I travelled to few of the beautiful places in India , right from my favourite Ladakh, then to Manali, Ranthambore, Kanyakumari, Kovalam and Poovar in Kerela to Guwahati. Officially too from Kolkotta to Chennai to Bangalore to Ludhiana to Mumbai. And during all these trips i did managed to go to some great places , meet amazing people and learnt new things.

Now that i’m back to writing I think i can put all those experiences on this blog.

This image is from my recent trip to Kovalam. While the everyone was busy enjoying the beach, the waves, the sun , the shacks - this man in midst of all the fun and chaos, was busy offering his namaz. A little pause from his regular life.

So i thought why not put this image as the image for this post. This is what we need from time to time - a little pause, a moment of solitude  away from the hassle of this world.
